Position overiewWe are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
Digital Account Manager to join our digital and social media team. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day digital and social media briefs, coordinating proposals and costings, and ensuring smooth execution of campaigns across multiple clients.
The successful candidate will bring solid experience in an advertising agency environment, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, deliver high-quality campaigns, build strong client relationships, and oversee supplier and financial management.
Key responsibilitiesClient and account management- Act as the day-to-day contact for digital and social media clients, ensuring clear communication and high service levels.
- Translate client briefs into workable action plans and timelines.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with clients by understanding their business needs.
Campaign and project management- Manage all incoming digital and social media briefs, ensuring they are scoped, costed, and executed effectively.
- Prepare proposals, budgets, and timelines in line with client requirements.
- Oversee campaign execution across digital and social channels, coordinating with creative, media, and production teams.
- Monitor campaign delivery to ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Supplier and contract management- Source, appoint, and manage external suppliers and partners as required for campaign execution.
- Negotiate and manage supplier agreements and contracts to ensure value and compliance.
- Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
Financial management- Take ownership of financial management of jobs, including accurate costings, billing, and budget tracking.
- Ensure jobs are profitable, monitored, and reconciled in line with agency standards.
- Work closely with finance to maintain accurate records and resolve discrepancies.
Performance and reporting- Track and report on campaign performance using analytics tools and dashboards.
- Provide clients with regular updates and actionable insights to optimise campaigns.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting both internally and externally.
Team collaboration- Work closely with BUD and account directors and senior management to support strategy development.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated digital solutions.
- Provide guidance to junior account executives and coordinators when required.
