About the role

As a senior account manager, you will take the lead in managing high-profile client accounts and ensuring the successful delivery of creative campaigns. You will play a key role in driving client satisfaction, fostering team collaboration, and contributing to overall project success.

Key responsibilities
  • Build and nurture strong, trusted relationships with clients, acting as an advisor and the primary point of contact.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multi-channel advertising campaigns.
  • Provide clear and detailed briefs that outline all deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, including weekly status and sales calls.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Offer strategic insights and recommendations to clients to help them achieve their business goals.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the client’s industry and competitor landscape.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure work aligns with client expectations and objectives.
  • Interpret client briefs effectively, demonstrating a strong grasp of marketing materials, design elements, layout terminology, and industry jargon.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Monitor industry trends to keep clients and the agency ahead of the curve.
What you will need
  • A tertiary qualification in marketing or brand management.
  • Over five years of account management experience within an advertising or marketing agency.
  • ATL advertising experience.
  • A proven track record of managing and growing client accounts.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Own transport.
