Digital Editor

K and K Media seeks to appoint a skilled Digital Editor to join our team. As a digital editor, you’ll be responsible for creating, editing and publishing high-quality digital content across various platforms. If you’re passionate about storytelling, have a keen eye for detail, and are up to date with the latest digital trends, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Managing deadlines and scheduling to ensure timely publication of news content
• Assigning stories to reporters ensuring they meet deadlines
• Conducting research and fact-checking to ensure the accuracy of news content
• Planning and coordinating news content, including deciding on story angles and coverage
• Create, edit and publish engaging digital content across our platforms
• Collaborate with writers, designers and other stakeholders to produce high quality content
• Analyse performance metrics and adjust content strategies accordingly
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or media studies
• Proven experience as a digital editor or similar role
• Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills
• Excellent knowledge of digital platforms and trends
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
