more than just write copy; they are responsible for
conceptualising highly visual communication tools that tell a
compelling story in order to
inform and educate.The writer we are looking for will work on communication tools such as
motion graphics, online learning modules, comics, newsletters, case studies, toolbox talks, handbooks, infographics, and posters for our clients in the
mining industry and other fields.
Key requirements of the role include:
- The ability to understand highly technical and/or complex subject matter and communicate it in crystal clear, engaging language.
- The ability to conceptualise memorable, informative visuals.
- The ability to conceptualise and write for a wide range of communication tools and formats.
- High levels of creativity.
- Strong research skills and a deep curiosity about how things work.
- Strong logical reasoning skills, analytical skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage your time well and meet deadlines.
- A thirst for growth and development. The specialised nature of the work presents a steep learning curve even for seasoned writers, so you must have a desire to push yourself and keep learning. Ideally, our writers eventually grow into the role of creative lead.
