Our client, a non-profit, medical scheme is seeking a
Pharmaceutical Benefit and PMB Management Manager for the Pretoria area.
Duties include but not limited to:- Oversee the clinical operations within the department – 2 divisions, chronic medication and the Prescribed Minimum Benefit division.
- The Manager will be ensuring the delivery of appropriate, efficient cost-effective healthcare services to the company’s member.
- This role involves managing clinical staff, developing and implementing clinical policies, and collaborating with various departments to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements:- Grade 12
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (BPharm); B. Cur, relevant medical qualification at NQF level 8 or above
- Expert pharmaceutical knowledge in medicine benefit management in a managed care environment and its use – 10 years of which 5 years in a managerial role
- Expert knowledge and experience in PMB Management (in and out of hospital) – 5 years
- Functional knowledge and experience with working with technical systems for medicine benefits management and Prescribed Minimum benefits
- Personnel management and planning
- Leadership and critical thinking
- Strong communication skills
