Communication Officer
Communication Officer (2 posts) Remuneration: R397 116 per annum Requirements: Minimum educational qualification: Appropriate three-year national diploma/degree in communication, journalism, public relations, or marketing. Experience: Appropriate experience in a communication, public relations or media environment, which include building and managing client and stakeholder relationships; developing visual communication products; media, reputation and response management; internal communication and brand management, and developing and executing communication campaigns. Appropriate experience in the public service, NGO or NPO environment. Appropriate experience in Adobe InDesign and photography. Inherent requirement of the job: Valid Code (B/EB) driver’s licence. Willing to occasionally work outside regular office hours and to travel for work. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Media liaison. Reputation management. Written and visual content development. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Duties (key result areas/outputs): Conceptualisation and implementation of communication plans and campaigns. Reputation management. Internal communication and brand management. Project and event management. Stakeholder engagement support.
