We are seeking an experienced, versatile TV production candidate with a strong background in entertainment, scripted, and unscripted genres. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working on content across multiple genres.
Television production supervisor – entertainment, scripted and unscripted content.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision of the production process and production logistics such as location scouting, crew, equipment and permit acquisitions.
- Oversee aspects of production, including pre-production, filming, and post-production.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to improve efficiency.
- Develop production schedules, ensuring timelines are met without compromising creative goals.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, downtime and inventory levels.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Source and negotiate quotations from suppliers without compromising the quality of the product.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, freelance crews, and talent agencies.
- Handle bookings for crew, equipment, travel, and catering.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Create and manage production schedules and call sheets.
- Develop budgets to keep productions financially on track.
- Minimum of 8 years in various genres, including multicam productions, scripted and unscripted content.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Strong understanding of traditional TV platforms and digital production workflows.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills with a good energy.
- Experience working with talent, securing filming locations, permits, and understanding location requirements.
- Experience in travel, accommodation, and logistics booking for cast and crew when required and insurance planning for shoots.
- Understanding and experience in logistics and equipment booking for scripted and unscripted genres.
- Collaborate with production teams in developing new show concepts, ensuring they align with audience preferences and market trends.
- Exceptional computer literacy (Excel and PowerPoint proficiency).
Requirements:- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in multi media and related qualification
- Proven experience as a production supervisor or similar role in TV production
- Knowledge of production planning, quality control, and safety regulations
- TV production with a minimum eight years’ experience (Required)
- Experience working with both traditional TV platforms and digital.
- Valid driver's licence (required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software is a plus.
