BMT is looking for a highly organised and hands-on operations and inventory coordinator to join our team. This role requires a mix of strong administrative skills, inventory management expertise, and practical on-site capabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, assisting with installations, attending site meetings, and actioning tasks based on site requirements.

Who we’re looking for:
  • Strong administrative skills with experience in inventory management.
  • Technically inclined with a hands-on approach to installations and site work.
  • Ability to read and interpret site requirements and implement necessary actions.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to think on the go.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and the team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel to sites.
Key responsibilities:

1. Inventory and administration

Maintain accurate inventory records, track stock levels, and oversee inventory control.
Process orders, receipts, and stock movement to ensure efficient supply chain management.
Keep the warehouse/storage area organized and well-maintained.
Generate and update reports on stock levels, usage, and reordering needs.
Ensure all necessary documentation and paperwork are completed and filed properly.

2. On-site installations and maintenance

Assist in the installation and setup of digital screens at various sites.
Perform basic repairs and maintenance on installed equipment.
Ensure installation tools and materials are prepared before site visits.

3. Site meetings and execution

Attend site meetings to assess project requirements and gather necessary details.
Identify and document actionable tasks following site visits.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure seamless execution.
Ensure all work is completed to the required standard and within set deadlines.

4. General hands-on support

Be a go-to handyman for minor repairs, adjustments, and on-site problem-solving.
Work alongside technicians to assist with installations and troubleshoot issues.
Ensure all health & safety protocols are followed on-site.
