Regent Business School commits to SDGs, encourages others to do same or partner us

Regent Business School commits to the Global Sustainable Development Goals and challenges individuals, civics and other private and public sector organisations to do the same or partner us in this worthy global campaign.

The United Nations codified and recently launched the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) following on the success of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) which were launched in 2000 and came to an end recently.

Regent Business School commits to SDGs, encourages others to do same or partner us

The major objectives of the SDGs are to address critical global societal needs in clear and measurable ways. In this new development agenda, there is clearly a role for both the individuals, civics and other private and public sector organisations to assist in meeting the objectives of the SDGs.

In terms of social responsibility, private companies can and should play a critical role in meeting these challenges of global development.

We at Regent Business School, driven by our mission and vision, our social outreach agenda and other altruistic principles and intrinsic values, are institutionalising our commitment to the SDGs and shared values initiatives. In respect of this new socially responsible initiative, we have decided to:

  • further align our vision and mission to make a local, regional and global impact with programmes that bring our initiatives to life;
  • align our existing efforts with global trends, innovations and stakeholder expectations;
  • develop strategic sustainability platforms, resources and communication strategies to help drive behaviour and positive change; and
  • wherever possible to embed the major principles of the SDGs into our core teaching and learning curriculum

We earnestly request that you use your personal or institutional media platforms to send this message to as many friends, colleagues and networks as possible in the hope that it will encourage millions of individuals, civics and other public and private sector organisations to commit to the SDGs. Should you wish to join us on this campaign, please contact Ms Mevisha Reddy az.ca.tneger@gnisitrevda.

We also make a special appeal to Business Schools and MBA students and graduates all over the world to do the same.
