Job description

 Key responsibilities

Lead Management and Outbound Sales

  • Manage and engage with leads from dealerships and internal sales channels
  • Conduct outbound calls to present and sell warranty products
  • Ensure timely follow-ups to maximise conversion rates
  • Track and manage leads throughout the sales cycle

Sales and conversion

  • Promote and sell warranty products tailored to customer needs
  • Clearly explain product features, benefits, and pricing
  • Handle objections effectively and close sales
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets

Client retention and cross-selling

  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell warranties to existing and new clients
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Enhance customer retention and lifetime value

Client engagement and advisory

  • Conduct needs analysis based on vehicle type and age
  • Provide compliant and accurate product advice
  • Ensure clients fully understand product offerings

Stakeholder engagement

  • Collaborate with dealership partners and internal teams
  • Provide feedback on lead quality and conversion outcomes

Administration and policy processing

  • Accurately capture client information and process applications
  • Ensure all documentation is complete and shared with clients
Payment and policy activation
  • Guide clients through payment and activation processes
  • Follow up to ensure policies are successfully activated

Compliance and quality assurance

  • Adhere to FAIS and TCF principles
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions
Key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Outbound call volumes
  • Lead conversion rates
  • Sales volume and revenue
  • Cross-selling ratios
  • Policy activation rates

Requirements

Minimum requirements

Education

  • Matric (grade 12) – essential
  • RE5 certification – preferred (or to be completed within required timeframe)
  • Relevant financial services qualification – advantageous
Experience
  • 1–3 years in outbound sales or telesales
  • Experience in insurance, warranties, or motor industry advantageous
  • Exposure to dealership or brokerage environments beneficial
