Are you passionate about public relations, creativity, and organisation? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same? We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented PR Intern / Admin Coordinator to join our team in Umdloti.

About the role

This hybrid position blends public relations support with administrative coordination. You’ll work closely with the PR team to support campaigns, assist with media tracking and reporting, coordinate events, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the department. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn, contribute, and grow in the PR and communications space.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the PR team with campaign coordination, media monitoring, and press material preparation.
• Maintain databases, contact lists, and schedules to ensure efficient workflow.
• Provide administrative support including meeting coordination, filing, and document management.
• Support with event logistics and client-related tasks as needed.
• Track media coverage and compile reports.
• Assist in ensuring deadlines are met and communication runs smoothly across the team.

Minimum requirements

• A recent graduate or final-year student in public relations, communications, or marketing.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• A proactive, can-do attitude with great attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (and ideally Canva or similar creative tools).
• A team player who enjoys collaboration and learning in a supportive environment.
