Marketing and Design Assistant

This role is suited for a marketing professional with strong expertise in digital marketing, exceptional written English skills, and a proactive approach. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the COO, Graphic Designer, and Sales Manager to execute and optimise marketing campaigns across various channels, focusing on digital marketing, social media management, and email marketing.

Key responsibilities:

Digital marketing and analytics

• Plan, manage, and optimise Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, and Shopping).
• Monitor and analyse website performance using Google Analytics or similar tools, providing actionable insights.

Social media management

• Create and schedule content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Create ads using Ads Manager.
• Use Meta Business Suite for social media management.
• Manage community engagement by responding promptly to comments and messages.
• Research and implement trends, particularly on TikTok and Instagram, to enhance audience engagement.

Email marketing

• Plan and coordinate email marketing campaigns using platforms like Brevo (formerly Sendinblue).
• Align campaigns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Track, analyse, and report on campaign performance to identify areas for improvement.

 Content creation

• Video creation (shooting on mobile or using existing footage and editing) mostly for social media & presentations.
• Collaborate on marketing collateral such as print material, social media graphics, and POS material.

Graphic design:

• Assist to create visual content for digital and print media (print-ready files), including social media graphics, website banners, email newsletters, brochures, pull-up banners, packaging design, label design, gifting, etc.
• Assist in the development of marketing collateral that aligns with strong brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
• Photo editing, retouching, etching and image optimisation.

General marketing support

• Assist in planning and coordinating promotional events and campaigns.
• Work closely with sales teams to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and sales objectives.
• Conduct competitor research and market analysis to identify opportunities.
• Maintain and update marketing calendars and schedules.

Requirements:

• Two or more years of experience in a similar role.
• Certificate or diploma in Digital Marketing or a related field.
• Strong written English skills, with the ability to write clear and compelling copy.
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a core requirement for this role.
• Proficiency in Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Meta Business Suite.
• Experience with social media content creation, especially for Instagram and TikTok.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Brevo) and campaign analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Solution-oriented mindset with a “how can I help?” attitude.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Quick learner with a proactive and creative approach.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Friendly and approachable personality.
