The Musketeer is a dynamic brand and sales ambassador for client in the On Premise environment, encompassing bars, restaurants, clubs, events, and hospitality spaces. This role focuses on building relationships, identifying business opportunities, and implementing innovative strategies to drive trial, consumption, and visibility of products while upholding the brand’s premium image.

Salary / CTC: Market related (depending on current earnings, qualifications, and experience)
Report to: On Premise manager / regional sales manager
Type: Full-time, field-based

Key responsibilities:
  1. Brand ambassador
  • Build strong networks with key influencers and industry players (e.g., bar managers, promoters, agencies).
  • Represent the brand with credibility, passion, and in-depth knowledge
  • Uphold premium brand image at all touchpoints and activations.
  1. Territory entrepreneur
  • Understand and own your territory, identifying current and future opportunities for growth.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging accounts, and relevant cultural occasions.
  • Innovate and implement strategic initiatives that align with long-term objectives.
  • Manage resources effectively (tools, materials, budgets) to maximise output.

  1. Business consultant
  • Build and sustain long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to grow presence through win-win commercial agreements.
  • Drive brand engagement through tailored activations at high-impact venues and events.
  • Track, measure, and report on territory performance, market trends, and business growth areas.
Qualifications and skills:

Qualifications:
  • Matric (Grade 12) – required
  • University degree (marketing, business, or related) – preferred
Skills:
  • Strong communication, active listening, and negotiation abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strategic thinking and commercial awareness (understanding sales/financial metrics).
  • Able to adapt presentation, tone, and approach based on audience.
  • Confident using iOS and MS office suite.
Experience:
  • Sales and marketing experience – advantageous
  • Experience in nightlife, hospitality, and/or FMCG industry – highly beneficial
  • Solid understanding of local On Premise industry in the Southern suburbs & Overberg
