Durban Day is the perfect kid's day out!

Looking to spend fun and entertaining quality time out with your kids this month? Then look no further! The Sunday Times East Coast Radio Durban Day music festival is the perfect family outing. With an incredible line-up of top music artists, a kiddies area as well as food and beverage stalls in a picnic environment, there is something on offer for every member of your family.

The all new children's play area will be fully equipped with jumping castles, face painters and a climbing wall. If that's not enough to keep your kids entertained - the balloon sculptors, stilt walkers, jugglers and sand artists will.

While the kids soak up the fun, you can relax to the cool sounds of some of the country's best musical talents. On the bill are national muso's Just Jinger, Prime Circle, Jesse Clegg and Gang of Instrumentals. Firm local favourites - Maisha, Ricoshay, The Pixie Bennet Band, Red Light Stereo and Small Town Heroes will also take the stage to keep you entertained.

Pack your picnic baskets and head to Durban Day where you can relax with some of your favourite East Coast Radio DJ's. Catch Deon Govender and Trevor Williams spinning their hottest mixes on the decks and listen to Abigail live on air in East Coast Radio's mobile studio.

The concert takes place on 11 September at the George Campbell School of Technology and tickets are on sale now. Get yours for just R100 online from www.ticketbreak.co.za or at Musica Pavillion, both Musica stores at Gateway, Musica Galleria, Musica Liberty Midlands Mall and Musica Boardwalk Inkwazi. Tickets are R150 at the gate and kids under 12 years are free.

Gates open at 12pm and the first band will be on stage from 1pm onwards.
